Cape Town Tours & Safaris
While holidaying in South Africa's Mother City you'll want
to see and experience as much of the natural splendour of
the region as possible. Bloomberg delights in showing off
all that the Cape has to offer, and does this by matching
each guest's preferences and dreams to the tour that will
best meet the highest expectations.
Cape Point
A tour along the coast to Cape Point is a popular starting
choice. The opportunity to stand at the tip of the great African
continent cannot be passed by, and the Cape of Good Hope Nature
Reserve showcases pristine indigenous flora and fauna species.
Hike, cycle, picnic, braai (BBQ) and swim at this world-renowned
reserve situated where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans collide.
Winelands
Another favourite choice of Cape Town tours is an
exploration into the verdant vineyards of the Cape
Town Winelands. From Stellenbosch's oaklined streets,
to Paarl's green valley, to Franschoek's quaint Francophile
village, the acres of vines produce some of the world's finest
wines, and Bloomberg can get you picnicking, fruit picking
and frolicking in this lush part of the Cape. And of course
there will be plenty of wine tasting, wine drinking and wine
buying en route.
Whale Watching
Hermanus is a picturesque seaside harbour town, best known
for its spectacular coastline from which the best land-based
whale watching in the Southern Hemisphere - arguably on the
planet - can be enjoyed. Bloomberg can arrange a guided, personal
tour into the Overberg region to Hermanus during whale season
(late winter to early summer) in a luxury air-conditioned
vehicle. Sightings of the giants of the deep are interspersed
with delectable meals and time spent browsing the markets
and stores for curios and gifts.
Cape Town Safari
For many of our guests, Africa is synonymous with wild life
- most famously the Big Five - Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant
and Rhinoceros. There was a time when one had to travel north
of the Cape in order to view these magnificent beasts. Today,
however, it is possible to view all of the Big Five - along
with numerous other examples of South African game, large
and small - just 90 minutes from the centre of the city. Bloomberg
is proud to offer our guests the opportunity to experience
a Cape Town safari as one of the services
we offer.
